MADE was founded by artist and curator Katarina Wong. Katarina has curated critically-acclaimed exhibitions, and she shows her own work nationally and internationally. She has received numerous grants and residencies for both her artistic and curatorial work. Her art is represented in collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Katarina was also the Director of Curatorial and Community Engagement for the New York flagship office of Edelman, the largest global public relations firm. She started their corporate art collection and their gallery, as well as created award-winning communications programs.
Katarina received her BA from St. John's College (having attend both Santa Fe, NM and Annapolis, MD campuses) and holds an MFA from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Master of Theological Studies degree in Buddhism from the Harvard Divinity School. An avid traveler, she co-wrote two Let's Go! Guidebooks (India/Nepal and Washington, DC).
