Hana Jakrlova is an internationally-exhibited and published Czech-born artist.  Her photography addresses issues of belonging, intimacy and identity. Hana has traveled throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States, as well as Argentina to realize her photographic projects. Two of which have been published as monographs: In the Meantime: Europe (foreword written by the Czech president Vaclav Havel), a photographic journey in post-Communist Europe; and Big Sister, in which she photographed in a live-streamed sex club in Prague to explore issues of intimacy and privacy. 

Hana's work  is included in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; Museum of Contemporary Arts, Moscow; Musee de la Photographie, Charleroi, Belgium; Wilson Centre for Photography, London; President Vaclav Havel's Library, Prague; Camerawork Gallery, Berlin, in addition to numerous private collections.
