Using the language of minimalism, each artist creates maximal impact with her intensely focused paintings, ceramics, and drawings. Sheila Kramer paints deeply saturated vistas from NM and around the world based on her experiences as a pilot; Bonnie Lynch seeks simplicity of form in her hand-built, pit-fired vessels; while Linda Lynch's monochromatic drawings are powerful expressions of shape and line.
We are also pleased to be debuting the Yvonne O'Gara Collection of sustained luxury home accessories made from vintage kimonos and saris, along with her unique scarves and wraps.
In addition to the opening reception on Saturday, July 18, 5-7pm, please join us for these other events:
Wed July 29, 5-7pm: Yvonne O'Gara Collection Trunk Show
Fri July 31, 5-7pm: Meet the Artists Reception/Last Friday ArtWalk in the Railyard

Raised in a family of pilots, NYC-based artist Sheila Kramer is also an accomplished single-engine pilot herself. Having spent hundreds of hours in the cockpit, light and weather are physically changing presences and constant companions. A seasoned traveler, Kramer’s journeys above and below the clouds are a continual source for her atmospheric paintings.
Bonnie Lynch is "interested in beauty, in simplicity of form, in the process of making these pieces.” Working from her Santa Fe and Texas studios, Lynch’s unglazed ceramic vessels are hand built and extremely thin-walled. Their mysterious surfaces are created through the firing process, in which smoke infuses with the clay to give each piece a unique and other-worldly finish.
Based in southern NM, Linda Lynch’s monochromatic drawings are inspired by her tandem interest in landscape and the nature of drawing. A Zen practitioner, she also investigates universal themes of identity and memory. "Rather than experiencing drawing through narrative or representation,” Lynch says, "it is to rely on...the collective unconscious, the real force of nature, rather than the image of it."
